04 August
Had to change my routine, due to starting a new job. For the foreseeable future, instead of doing a full work-out three times a week, I'll be doing half of it six times a week.

Special Note: My weight vest tore in a couple of spots, so I can't wear it anymore until I get it repaired/replaced. I'm thinking of skipping it altogether, as it doesn't seem to add much. But I might wear it during the rest of the day, while I'm not walking.)

Jahn, I am envious, If I tried to do a sit up my back would crack in half. I have two fused vertebra in my lower back and the best I can do is leg lifts to keep my muscle tone even close to what it should be.

Ouch! I'm glad my back's never gotten that bad.

I've really never been anything approaching a "jock", but I do have the family honor to uphold. (Friedrich Ludwig Wilhelm "Turnvater" Jahn is a distant cousin of mine.)

Now, if I could just drop those other 30 pounds....

I don't know how you do it. All those push ups and sit ups. Well the weight is starting to fall off now. Good luck and keep it up.

As of yesterday, I've walked 169.4 miles. That works out to about 11 miles per pound lost.

Maybe if I walk from here to Albuquerque....

I've also done 5,130 push-ups and 4,980 sit-ups.
